Over more than a decade of involvement in Dutch political rainbow networks and the organisation of Pride events, as well as volunteering at the IAS AIDS Conferences in Amsterdam (2018) and Montréal (2022), Eric met countless passionate activists — many of whom were in urgent need of recognition and support.

Bringing others on board, whether as volunteers or board members, came naturally. The initiative was met with enthusiasm, and even some prominent figures were quick to lend their support by joining the Committee of Recommendation.
