You Can't Beat Love
On 2 August 2025, the Rainbow Salute Foundation proudly sailed the You Can’t Beat Love boat through the heart of Amsterdam’s canals for Pride.
Our boat carried more than music and colour — it carried a message to the world: that no matter the stigma, the barriers, or the battles ahead, you can’t beat love.
On board were our honoured activists, many fighting HIV stigma or working on the frontlines of LGBTQIA+ rights. For some, it was a moment of joyful celebration; for others, it was almost overwhelming, a rare chance to be publicly seen and cheered. Every wave, every smile, every cheer from the crowd was an affirmation that their work, their courage, and their lives matter.
This wasn’t just a boat in a parade. It was a moving statement of resilience, unity, and hope — a reminder that love is the strongest force we have, and that it can carry us forward together.
